Due to rain and hot temps, snow melt was greatly accelerated and loks as if we'll have a fishable stream shortly. The flooding was severe in some ares due to the quickness of the melt but Rock Creek and the Laramie are both looking about right now. _________________ der Alte Jäger

| I checked out the Laramie on our side of the line last week and the flooding was really hard on that crick. Didn't find a fish in it, so they must have all washed down to you guys. All my normal haunts were washed away so now I have to relearn it. |

For at least three weeks it was completely out of it's banks here, higher than I've ever seen it. All told it was high for well over a month. No surprise that the river has changed, especially up high. I haven't been to the headwaters in several years now as last time I went it was to ferry in some hay and grain to a group of students from Hocking College doing back country horse work on t rails, etc in the Rawah Wilderness. _________________ der Alte Jäger
